This project involved designing a vibrant and visually engaging t-shirt collection focused on the theme of “Hiking with My Dog.” The goal was to create appealing designs for dog lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, blending playful typography, adventure-inspired illustrations, and relatable sentiments.
Design Process:
Concept Development:
The theme centered on the joy of spending time outdoors with a beloved canine companion. I brainstormed and sketched ideas highlighting mountains, dogs, hikers, and warm sentiments to resonate with the target audience.
Visual Elements:
- Illustrations: Hand-drawn vector elements, such as hikers, dogs, and mountainous backdrops, set the tone for adventure.
- Typography: A mix of bold and playful fonts was used to emphasize key phrases like “Happiness” and “Hiking with My Dog.” Each design incorporated vibrant colors to create an energetic and cheerful feel.
Design Execution:
I finalized three distinct designs, each capturing a unique aspect of the theme:
- First Design: A warm and cheerful depiction of a hiker and their dog against a mountain silhouette with playful typography.
- Second Design: A typography-dominant piece, featuring a creative arrangement of text to express the happiness of hiking with a dog, paired with mountain and animal graphics.
- Third Design: A minimalist silhouette-style design with clean lines, focused on the connection between the hiker and their dog.
Mockups:
Realistic t-shirt mockups were created to showcase the designs in a practical and visually appealing manner.

Project Outcome:
The t-shirt designs were well received for their relatable theme, bold typography, and eye-catching visuals. They highlight the bond between humans and their pets while appealing to hikers’ adventurous spirits. This project showcases my ability to combine illustration, typography, and layout design for wearable art.
